How Conscious Culture Becomes Your Competitive Advantage
Culture isn’t perks, posters, or what’s written in your values deck. It’s how decisions get made when no one is watching.
Most leaders don’t set out to create a misaligned culture. But under pressure, culture becomes reactive instead of intentional. Priorities shift, behaviors drift, and the gap between what you say and what people experience starts to show up in engagement, retention, and results.
In this 45-minute interactive Lunch & Learn, we’ll focus on how to design culture on purpose, not by default.
Grounded in the Conscious Capitalism principle of Conscious Culture, we’ll explore how culture becomes a true competitive advantage when it is consistently reinforced through leadership behaviors, decisions, and team dynamics.
Because culture doesn’t live in statements. It lives in how leaders show up every day.
This is not a passive webinar. It’s a guided, interactive experience hosted by Conscious Capaitalism NYC Chapter Board Members, Konstantin Popovic and Kathy Eastwood. You’ll have an opportunity to reflect, connect, and take action alongside a like-minded community of leaders committed to doing business better. And you’ll leave with a simple, practical way to assess your culture and where to focus next.
This session is for:
Bring your lunch. Bring your curiosity. Leave with clarity.

Register Why performance breaks when human
Why performance breaks when human needs go out of balance: A participatory keynote.
Many leadership challenges labelled as “performance,” “motivation,” or “engagement” are actually problems of imbalance. When fundamental human needs are overlooked or get out of balance, energy drops, trust erodes, and organizations rely more on control than commitment.
In this participatory keynote workshop, Prof. Michael Pirson, Professor at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and Founder of the Humanistic Leadership Institute, invites senior leaders to explore a different way of understanding organizational performance.
Using the lens of four fundamental human drives, participants will actively reflect on real organizational situations and examine where leadership systems unintentionally drain energy or undermine dignity. Rather than offering best practices or prescriptions, the session focuses on diagnosis, judgment, and leadership trade-offs.
This is not a lecture and not a traditional workshop. The format combines a concise conceptual framing with guided reflection and small-group discussion, allowing participants to apply the ideas directly to their own leadership context.
