With the accelerating change we’ve been experiencing in 21st century corporate culture, it’s not enough just to be profitable anymore. Companies are increasingly pushed to seriously consider not just the benefit of their shareholders, but also that of the planet, the communities in which they operate, as well as their own employees—focusing on all their stakeholders.

Join us for an informative discussion with leaders from two such exemplary organizations of this new wave of conscious capitalism: John Tran of the coconut water powerhouse Vita Coco, along with Michele Abo of local coffee superstar Barrie House. They will discuss how conscious capitalism is best put into practice, including how their companies have used the four pillars of conscious capitalism: purpose, stakeholder, culture and leadership, to improve the ways in which they do business, and impact their communities and the world. Notably, Vita Coco has recently converted to a Public Benefit Corporation while Barrie House is a Fair Trade organic coffee producer with a social mission as a global sponsor of Partnership for Gender Equity.
