April 8, 2022 — After six years of service to our community, Alexander McCobin is stepping down as CEO of Conscious Capitalism, Inc. (CCI). During his time with CCI, Alexander led the organization through periods of growth and change including successfully navigating the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic and the founding of the Conscious Capitalism Senior Leader Network. CCI will continue to benefit from the new Conscious Leaders we welcomed to our community during Alexander’s tenure and from his work to set the organization up for a bright and exciting future under new leadership.
Current Board and Executive Committee Chair Karen Sammon will step into the role of Interim CEO as CCI begins the search for a new leader.

Karen has been a member of CCI’s Board of Directors since 2018 and an Executive Committee member since 2020. She started her tenure as Board and Executive Committee Chair in January of 2022. Current co-founder of CustomerX.i and former CEO, President, and Board Member of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR), Karen is a frequent contributor and speaker on Conscious Capitalism topics and is actively building the Conscious Capitalism community at the Chapter level in New York State. During her time as Interim CEO, fellow Executive Committee member James Rhee will take on the role of Interim Executive Committee Chair.

I remain, now and always, committed to Conscious Capitalism, the philosophy, the movement, and the organization. I am excited to see it continue to grow, and contribute to its growth in a different way.”
Conscious Capitalism, Inc. remains strategically focused on continuing to add members to our Senior Leader Network at a rapid pace and support those members on their conscious paths, expand and strengthen our ecosystem of local chapters, present a world-class CEO Summit in October, and tell the stories of how our community of Conscious Leaders is changing the world.
Alexander’s last day will be April 8, 2022. CCI’s Board of Directors has formed a search committee and will be working with an external firm to help identify our next conscious leader through a global search.
