Mark combines his love for investing, fulfilling relationships, and the natural world to create a true partnership with all his clients. He is a fiduciary, which means a commitment to uphold the highest ethical standards while acting in his clients’ best interest at all times. He holds a lifelong commitment to learning, enabling him to represent you to the best of his abilities. He invests for you in the same way he does for himself, his family, and his lifelong friends.
Mark built the foundation for his financial career by finding a passion for investing while completing Bachelors and Masters degrees at Loyola University Maryland. He developed a deep understanding of financial markets while working for a Hedge Fund as a Bond Analyst leading up to, during, and in the aftermath of the Financial Crisis. He combined this experience with continued study by attaining the Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation for investing.
He became a Portfolio Manager and worked directly with individuals, families, and small business owners, helping them plan and invest. Completing the Certified Financial Planner accreditation to enable him to better serve his clients. In 2015, as he progressed to become Chief Investment Officer of a regional firm, he created and sought to implement a Sustainable Investment program for his clients.
In 2017, he joined an investment firm that focused exclusively on Sustainable Investing, and at the end of 2018 he founded Atlas.
