Events & Programs
Tuesday, April 13, 12-1 PM CDT
Elevating humanity through business begins with knowing WHY your company exists.
Without a clear answer to this critical question, businesses have no compass to find and stay focused on their True North. In Part II of our series, discover the importance of operating with purpose beyond profits. Learn how pursuing higher purpose improves employee engagement, forges new partnerships, and supports all stakeholders. Plus, see why data shows companies built around purpose generate more profits and grow faster than their competitors. This session will inspire you to think about business differently.
Tuesday, May 18, 12-1 PM CDT
Join other local leaders for an interactive online experience designed to help define and activate your company's Higher Purpose.
Engage in 60 minutes of facilitated conversations, hands-on activities, and one-on-one connections for:
• Discovery - Examining why your company and you as a leader exist
• Creation - Crafting a business purpose statement centered on the difference you want to make in the world
• Integration - Forming a plan for integrating this Higher Purpose internally and externally
Learning Connections are deep dives following each Four Tenet event. Participants are encouraged to attend both the April 13 and May 18 events for a richer learning experience.

Heart-based conscious leader. Empowering enriched lives of meaning & purpose. Conscious Business Catalyst.
I believe in the power of people, planet & profit. I believe in the understanding that if we are not the problem then there is no solution. If we focus on solving our own problems then collectively we can thrive.
For 24+ years, I have been fortunate enough to be a founder, entrepreneur, and student of life - working with the finest group of human beings I could ever imagine. Together we got messy, had fun, made mistakes, & disrupted an industry through innovation, teamwork, caring & helping our stakeholders thrive. We grew as leaders and human beings. #Grateful
Reflecting on my experience as the founder and Chief Enrichment Officer of Redemption Plus, I discovered my purpose and inspired others to find theirs. The bottom line is helping others lead enriched lives of meaning & purpose was baked into the DNA from the start. It also became crystal clear that business can elevate humanity while being profitable. You can do both, you must do both, and you should never compromise on navigating the polarity of each. This is the future of business.
My true Redemption Story began as I learned to heal myself through my oldest son’s journey of addiction & recovery. When you heal yourself, you also heal your family and your company - it is all entwined.
These lifelong gifts I intend to share with the world by:
- practicing, coaching, and nurturing conscious business practices which begins with conscious leadership;
- leaning into the power of plant-based foods to help heal disease & our planet; and
- advocating for the power of the heart (aka love) being baked into business, community, and connection to others.
We each have the power to heal, create, and thrive in a way that allows space for our world to be more just, fair, and inclusive. Peace & Love.
If you want to feel happy, do something for yourself. If you want to feel fulfilled, do something for someone else. - Simon Sinek

Christina fell in love with Conscious Capitalism after hearing John Mackey of Whole Foods and Co-Founder and Co-Author of Conscious Capitalism speak on November 30, 2016 in Kansas City at the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program’s annual retreat. John shared some of his hard-earned wisdom from his own journey toward building a culture based on love, community, and purpose. This concept has been Christina’s life work and as she became aware of the Conscious Capitalism community she knew she needed to learn more. After reading Conscious Capitalism and attending the April 2017 Conscious Capitalism conference, both Ron Hill and Christina resolved to found a local Kansas City chapter, which they launched in November 1st, 2017 with six founding members.
Christina’s passion for Conscious Capitalism and the belief that companies can and should be a force for good has manifested itself in every aspect of her life. As the Culture Crusader (aka Chief People & Culture Officer) at Redemption Plus, Christina is responsible for developing and executing on human resource strategies that reinforce and support Redemption Plus’s overall culture, core values, behaviors, and strategic growth plans. As an experienced business owner, coach and consultant, her unique and well-rounded business acumen has proved invaluable, in driving the success of Redemption Plus, while building a partnership culture. Christina has over 15 years of non-profit board, committee and event planning experience and currently serves as a board member for Cultivate KC, a local non-profit working to grow food, farms, and communities for a healthy local food system. Christina and her husband, Gary, have two fur-baby “French Bulldogs” Fiona and Brutus that keep them busy and entertained. They love to garden, travel, read and, in their extra time, enjoy seeing art as well as making some of their own.
