Event Details

2020 was a challenging year. In addition to a global pandemic, our region experienced another disaster –

The Four Lakes flood. In response, many local businesses and organizations stepped forward and offered their support. To learn more about the heroic role local businesses played, please join us on October 12th virtually or in-person at Saginaw Valley State University. We will take time to pause, reflect, recognize, and celebrate the contributions our local businesses have made to the social and economic restoration that is continuing to occur within our region. While this flood affected much of our region and full recovery is far from complete, we will focus our time on Sanford, Michigan, offering a glimpse into both the progress made and the renewed sense of optimism and hope it has generated.

Our program will open with Sanford’s Village President, Dolores Porte, who will set the stage and introduce Jon Lynch, President, and Chris Moultrup, Business Development Manager, of Three Rivers Corporation and J.W. Fisher, President, Fisher Contracting Co. who will share the story of the various roles and contributions made by multiple GLBR businesses.
