Mental fitness is similar to physical fitness in understanding the interventions, activities and strategies that support employees overall mental health and wellbeing. Mental fitness is about prevention and promotion to motivate individuals and organization to regularly practice positive mental health activities for long period of times. The longer one commits to practicing positive mental health activities the more mentally fit an employee is within the workplace.
