Freeman, an events company with nearly a century of innovation under its belt, has mastered the art of adaptation and strategic foresight. Their secret to thriving through decades of industry shifts and global changes? A relentless commitment to improvement, encapsulated in their pivotal question: “How can we improve?”
Their 2023 Impact Report reveals just how seriously they take this inquiry. At Freeman, improvement isn’t just a goal — it’s a continual pursuit that benefits everyone they serve, from educators and tech innovators to small businesses and local communities.
This dedication is evident in the way Freeman puts people at the heart of everything they do, ensuring fair and sustainable event delivery. As a family-owned business, they hold themselves accountable not just to their clients but to the planet and the communities they are part of.
Join us in a Virtual Gathering with Elizabeth Fretheim, Vice President of Sustainability at Freeman, to dive deep into their 2023 Impact Report. We’ll explore the strategies behind their significant, measurable impact in three key areas — people, principles, and planet — and learn how Freeman is setting the standard for future generations with a goal of achieving net zero carbon.

Register Conscious leadership is made up of three kinds
Conscious leadership is made up of three kinds of intelligence: emotional, spiritual, and systems. All three of these require a keen sense of self and situational awareness, and the ability to make decisions and influence others to implement change. Surprisingly, games are extremely effective tools for helping leaders hone these skills. At their core, games are opportunities for problem solving within different situations and offer an engaging means of experiential learning. The dynamics present in games closely resemble those encountered in the workplace, offering collaborative problem-solving experiences that encourage effective teamwork and diverse communication to achieve common objectives. It also helps to build resilience and boost emotional wellbeing of individuals and teams. In this highly interactive session, Alex Suchman, CEO and cofounder of Barometer XP, will demonstrate how to use games as part of leadership development and culture change strategies. Not only will we experiment with games, we’ll also hear from business leader David Raiser, P.h.D – Chief Operating Officer at STRM.BIO on how games affect real change within his company.

Register Conscious Capitalism at its main core is about
Conscious Capitalism at its main core is about making an impact on the world through the benefits of capitalism and influence and we are proud to bring back our annual Give Back Event! This event is all about giving back to the community around us through organizations and people that are making an impact on lives.
All of the proceeds from this event are going to support that cause and there will also be options to further contribute to the organization we spotlight during the event.
The National Autism Association of North Texas (NAA-NT) is a non-profit organization for children diagnosed with Autism and their families. NAA-NT is a chapter of the National Autism Association, a well-established and well-respected national organization serving families in the Autism Community. According to the CDC’s most recent analysis, 1 in 36 children have been identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and these numbers continue to grow each year. They are staffed one hundred percent by volunteers with a passion for helping autism families thrive. NAA-NT board members consist of mothers with autistic children and professionals who work with autistic children. By keeping our overhead low, we are able to put all of our funds directly into the community through grants, support groups, and family events.
