Patty Knap Tucker

Atlanta Chapter

Patty Knap Tucker is a communications strategist who helps intentional leaders turn their stakeholders into believers and advocates. She helps people really understand their company and strategy and feel motivated to help it succeed. This is increasingly urgent for her clients in the face of growing business and societal expectations. Patty believes using the lenses of stakeholder value, purpose, and conscious leadership to build trust and resonance is a critical factor in value creation and risk management.

Her rich communications career includes 14 years at Edelman, where she worked on the Edelman Trust Barometer research and counseled clients on building trust. She founded Treehouse Counsel in 2016 to help purposeful businesses plan and communicate strategy. With that team, she drives the retention, loyalty, and stakeholder alignment needed for long-term shareholder value.

She brings transferable experience with initiatives across every vertical industry, with hundreds of companies from start-up to Fortune 100. She has managed ESG and purpose platforms, workforce culture and labor issues, leadership successions, re/brandings, M&A, public spins, product line extensions, crisis management and shareholder alignment.

She is a current board member of Trees Atlanta and the Inspire Brands Foundation, a member of 1% for the Planet, advocate for OnBoard, and a champion and a founding board member of Conscious Capitalism Atlanta.
