I am probably a lot like you—striving to achieve optimal results with the least amount of energy. This principle guided me during my engineering career and has remained my focus over the past three decades in leadership and team development. Optimal results require bringing together people with differing perspectives, priorities, and personalities. Creative tension is so stimulating and engaging! However, this creative tension can devolve into resistance, causing people to either withdraw or overpower one another. Such resistance drains a significant amount of energy. The essence of my work is to guide individuals and teams to transform resistance into momentum. This transformation unleashes a wealth of creative energy, all while maintaining honor and building trust.
