Jim is the owner of Right at Home – Northern Michigan. Founded in 2012, Right at Home helps keep seniors safe, independent and at home by providing assistance with chores that are harder to do as we age or recovering from an injury / illness, meal preparation, transportation / errands, medication management and help with personal care such as toileting, bathing, dressing and grooming.
The root of Right at Home’s mission, “to improve the quality of life of our clients and their families, our employee and our referral partners” was created around recognizing the role and importance of all our stakeholders. Right at Home has been a Four-Tenet Partner of Conscious Capitalism Great Lakes Bay Region Chapter since 2024.
Jim is very active in the community, he is a leading advocate against the fight against dementia and has been part of the Midland Walk to End Alzheimer’s for fourteen years, including 10 years as the Chair. He was recognized in 2024 for these efforts by receiving the Everett N. Luce Community Champion Award through the Midland County Commission on Aging (Senior Services). Gall is a current Board member of Senior Services and a member of Right at Home’s, LLC’s Strategic Leadership Council. He is a past 10-year Board member of Cancer Services of Midland County and has also been very active with the Midland Business Alliance (Chamber) as a former Ambassador, an editorial advisor for Second Act: Life at 50+ through Delta College TV and a co-founder of the Great Lakes Bay Caregiver Retreat.
Prior to founding Right at Home – Northern Michigan, Jim held multiple positions over a 27+ year career with Dow, including several roles in R&D and TS&D, Business Development and Strategic Marketing. Jim is a Certified Senior Advisor through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, a graduate of Leadership Midland, and holds an Associate’s in Applied Science from Ferris State College, a Bachelor’s in Science from Central Michigan University and an Masters in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
