Cristina initially joined vcfo as a Consulting CFO working with a number of growing companies, then progressed to Managing Director. She is focused on sustainability, process efficiencies, and enabling growth. Her passion for sustainability and social impact blended with her data and metric-oriented approach using EOS, led to her track record of driving multiple teams to success.
Prior to joining vcfo, Cristina held several high-ranking professional positions, including serving as the CFO and Treasurer for HamaTech USA, Inc., and Corporate Controller for STEAG AG in Essen, Germany. Her vast expertise in corporate finance, accounting, treasury functions, revenue recognition, strategic planning, corporate management, and restructuring has made her a valuable asset for every organization she has been a part of.
Cristina is highly active in the Austin Community, as few things are more important to her than playing a role in furthering the city’s development and its businesses. She is a Board Member of Beam, supporting women at the most critical moments in their entrepreneurial journeys. She is an ambassador for the nonPareil Institute, dedicated to providing technical training to post-high school adults who are affected by autism spectrum disorder. Cristina received the Vistage Outstanding Member Award 2019 and has been nominated to the Austin Business Journal “Profiles in Power” and the “Central Texas Women of Influence” 2019.
Outside of the office, Cristina – a Brazilian native living in Germany for many years – likes to explore the great outdoors and everything that Texas offers. She is an avid hiker, a sports lover, and a frequent traveler.
