Amanda Karst is Director of Business Operations and Leadership Coach at AO People Partners. An energetic, engaging leadership coach and business strategist, Amanda’s coaching provides clients with a trusted partner who is a skilled listener and big picture thinker. Amanda’s work helps clients, and their companies get to the next level of growth. She is skilled at supporting clients with a strong entrepreneurial mindset—helping them navigate transition and change, as well as finding a greater sense of clarity, purpose, and direction to help guide them in what’s usually a face paced, demanding, reactive, yet creative and rewarding environment.
Amanda specializes in helping senior leaders synthesize their ideas into cohesive action plans. She helps senior leaders focus on goals, purpose, and possibility. Amanda brings her proficiency in business operations and experience with strategic business planning into her coaching practice—facilitating comprehensive understanding of the issue’s senior leaders face. Her style is introspective, genuine, compassionate, and attentive. With a background in complex IT project management, she takes an intentional, purposeful approach to helping leaders address their areas of leadership and challenge or limitation. As a senior practitioner in AO People Partners Leadership Development and People Strategies practices, Amanda excels at helping leaders create healthy, sustainable, and integrative opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
Amanda also serves on the Board of Conscious Capitalism Washington, D.C., where she advises on operations of the Conscious Capitalism® movement, which is based on the philosophy that when practiced consciously, business innately elevates humanity. Amanda believes that conscious businesses will help evolve our world so that people can flourish, leading lives infused with passion, purpose, love, and creativity.
Prior to her current roles, her career included Fortune 500 experience within Telecom & IT, serving as liaison between developers and commercial clients, and directing nation-wide teams; business ownership; work at startup companies and board membership in the non-profit sector.

Amanda holds an M.B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University – Carey School of Business, a Masters Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from The George Washington University – School of Business, and a B.S. in Marketing and International Business Management from Marquette University.
