Anita Ortiz (she/her/ella) is Founder and President of LAinclusionista, LLC, a consulting practice dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace and beyond. A passionate leader, she employs a collaborative, creative, courageous and caring approach to drive meaningful change. Hispanic Executive magazine named her a “Leading Latina” in recognition of her career achievements spanning 20 years at Paramount Pictures/Viacom. There she held increasingly responsible roles in Marketing, Government Affairs and Corporate Responsibility, most recently as Senior VP Global Inclusion Strategy. She proudly serves on the Board of CCLA to spark strategic action around equity and inclusion.

David Trovato

David’s journey in Social Impact began in 2005 when he joined RockCorps, a pro-social production company that produces concerts, where the only way in is through volunteering. That short term gig, turned into 12 years across more than 10 countries, where he actually put his degree in International Entrepreneurship to work! In an effort to refocus on the US, he and two partners founded Give To Get, a social impact company helping brands define, develop, and deploy their purpose, anywhere in the world. He lives in Culver City, with his Interior Designing Wife Bridgette (plug!), kiddo Julian, and papillion Sadie.

Emily is a senior consultant at Hypothesis Group, an AMA Top 50 insights and strategy agency that uses storytelling to inspire and activate business decisions. Specifically, Emily develops quantitative consumer research studies with Marketing, Brand, Strategy, and Product Development teams at leading global companies, tailoring insights to emphasize the marriage of purpose and profit that's needed to drive long-term business success.

Emily was an early member and volunteer of Conscious Capitalism’s LA Chapter - inspired by its engaging and creative community - and recently joined the board in the Spring of 2020. She holds a degree in Communication and Marketing from the University of Southern California.

She is also passionate about guiding people in discovering their true authentic self, creating a resilient life, and contributing to the leveling up of human consciousness.
Jennifer is also a successful conscious business owner for the past 10-years; as the founder of Whole Life Marketing (WLM), her company supports natural health and wellness brands grow their business on the internet.

Juliette's CCLA journey began with an internship where she learned firsthand the ins and out of growing this impactful movement in Los Angeles. Recognizing Juliette's efforts to help strengthen the chapter, she was brought on as CCLA's official Chapter Coordinator, a role she currently holds. Juliette is passionate about leadership, is inspired by how conscious businesses can help elevate humanity and loves being able to connect our community via CCLA events, and other chapter efforts. Juliette graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Azusa Pacific University.

Lisa Schenk, Ph.D. has over 20 years experience helping leaders, their teams, and their companies thrive. After 10 years in the field of international development working on policy design and project implementation, including projects with the UK Department for International Development and the Canadian International Development Agency, Rafik had developed an insider’s view of sustainable development and the fight against poverty. Rafik’s appreciation for social enterprise as a business model that circumvents both the volatility of traditional development frameworks and the shortcomings of conventional corporate models led him to found Buy Good. Feel Good., a platform for promoting and supporting businesses as a force for good. Rafik holds an MA in Tourism, Environment and Development from King's College London.

Sebastian Naum is serving on CCLA's leadership team because his personal and professional missions are perfectly aligned with those of CCLA's. As an agency owner, he’s worked with well over 100 brands and products over the past decade and what he’s learned was that purpose-driven brands and movements were the ones that really light up his heart and fueled his work. This inspired him to create and host a conscious business podcast that promotes conscious leadership and culture. CCLA is home to his inspiration.

Ty is a Senior Consultant at West Monroe where he advises banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions on strategy and operations. In addition to his client-facing work, Ty has spearheaded various internal initiatives such as overseeing a company-wide DEI program and leading University Recruitment at his alma mater, the University of Washington. His curiosity about the intersection of business, social, and public institutions spurred a passion for discovering the ways in which all three can promote economic and financial success—both at a societal and individual level—and drives his desire to promote the success of Conscious Capitalism.

Mary serves as a LA Chapter Leader for Ellevate Network for Professional Women and leads Southern California programs for the international educational non-profit, Facing History & Ourselves.

Mary is passionate about creating conscious cultures which build community and support diverse individuals. In addition to bringing this approach to her professional roles, she created Move with Grace to help individuals and teams facing painful transitions find clarity and take action.
