Conscious and wise listening is key to make corporate purpose on practice
methodologies, work.
I understand my higher purpose as a way of serving business leaders and
organizations to turn their dilemmas into Corporate Purposes. To believe that
together with other stakeholders, they can design and implement, solutions for
meaningful problems profitably, without generating detriments. I have learned that
the only way to achieve this is through helping others feel sympathy for the pains of
their stakeholders and to believe they can really make a difference in their lives
using the power of their beliefs, businesses, and the ecosystems around
them.
I have understood over years that not only rigorous methodologies can help
business leaders, organizations, and cultures to implement, measure and profit
from those meaningful solutions, to make them sustainable through time, but also,
an adequate and generative listening and connection with them and their
most profound challenges as well as motivations. In this line, through my first
company “Dylema on Purpose” and now with our new name “Fe Consulting”, I
have accompanied this transformational journey in 44 organizations from more
than 9 industries (banking, mining, retail, beverages, cemeteries, energy, fashion,
food and technology) and various civil society organizations with impact in more
than 9 issues (seniors, persons deprived of liberty, education, teacher support,
environment, family foundation funds, community, collaborative entrepreneurship
and animals). I intend to keep learning how listen and bring more wisdom,
common sense, support, tools, knowledge and hopefully meaning to those
who believe that capitalism and businesses have a lot to contribute but need to be
improved and complemented to solve with others the most pressing challenges of
our times in a sustainable and profitable way.
