Carissa is excited to be a part of the CCI team and work with like minded individuals on common values and goals when it comes to the world of business and how it affects people.
Carissa has a colorful background ranging from restaurant kitchens to non-profits. Carissa uses the experience she gained working in restaurants to forge a strong foundation in teamwork, organization, and communication that she now applies in the non-profit sector to support the work of dedicated organizations.
Carissa is passionate about the environment and how we can make positive changes now to heal our climate in the future.
Carissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management from Western Governors University, and also attended The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College.
Carissa was born and raised in the Greater Philadelphia Region, and currently resides in Philadelphia proper. Carissa is a rollerskating enthusiast and you can find her regularly skating at local rinks and Philadelphia parks with local community skate groups. She is also a longtime vegan, and spends the rest of her time enjoying the plethora of plant based restaurants in Philadelphia.
