Business as a Force for Good – Hamilton

When
Wednesday October 21 2026
4:30 PM–6:30 PM ET
Where
219 High Street
Hamilton, OH 45011
Format
In-person

Hamilton is in the middle of an extraordinary resurgence, historic buildings coming back to life, new businesses choosing to plant roots downtown, and a growing culture of leaders who believe in strengthening their community as they grow their companies. To celebrate this momentum, Conscious Capitalism Cincinnati is hosting a special Business as a Force for Good event in Hamilton featuring a three‑person panel of local leaders who embody this movement.

The conversation will include Tyler McCleary, Director of Operations at COhatch Hamilton, Andy Schuster, President of Matandy Steel, and Dan Bates, President and CEO of the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. Together, they represent the entrepreneurial spirit, civic pride, and people‑first leadership that are shaping Hamilton’s next chapter.

This session will explore how this resurgance began and progressed, how many leaders started and scaled their organizations, why Hamilton is the place they chose to invest, and how they’ve built cultures rooted in generosity, service, and community uplift. Attendees will hear firsthand how businesses across Hamilton are not only revitalizing buildings and neighborhoods, they’re revitalizing lives by giving back, creating opportunity, and bringing others along with them.

This event is a celebration of Hamilton’s transformation and a chance to learn from the leaders who are proving that business truly can be a force for good.

When CEOs take on uncertainty together

The 18th CEO Summit tackled what it takes to lead when change is constant.

Together, leaders dove deep into building organizations that can adapt faster, rethinking where control sits, making tough calls on talent and structure, protecting purpose and culture through transformation, and staying clear-headed when the path forward is rocky.

We explored:
  • How to make better decisions when you don’t have all the answers
  • What more adaptive, less bureaucratic organizations actually look like in practice
  • How to give people greater autonomy without losing accountability
  • What it takes to lead major organizational change when old structures stop working
  • How to make difficult calls on talent and leadership as the business evolves
  • The path to protecting purpose and culture when growth, investors, and short-term pressures pull in different directions
  • Practical strategies for CEOs to stay clear-headed, challenge their own thinking, and learn from leaders facing many of the same decisions
And we’ll be going even deeper in 2027.
“This was my first of these events and I was truly impressed with the level of candor and compassion during the event. This is strikingly different from other leadership forums.”
Leader at the 18th CEO Summit

Creativity is not only born from a need or an idea, it’s born from a safe space that inspires you to take on new challenges.

The CEO Summit is designed to be that room.

“The conference lends itself to vibrant, meaningful exchanges from both attendees and presenters (and our wonderful facilitator Jon). This has been uplifting and so refreshing. Candor is the magic bullet to the chemistry of this conference! Thank you.”

01
How do I know if this is the right environment for me?

If you’re a leader who cares deeply about your future, the future of your business, and the future of capitalism, this is the right environment for you.

The Summit is for CEOs who want a voice in what comes next, and are willing to challenge their own thinking, learn from other leaders, and help shape what business should look like over the next decade, that’s all.

02
Why do I have to apply?

Because who’s in the room matters!

Understanding a little about you, your business, and what you’re navigating helps us in bringing together like-valued leaders and creating a room where people can speak candidly and build relationships with leaders who share many of the same values, even when they don’t share the same perspectives.

03
I’ve attended previous Summits. Will this be the same?

No two Summits are built around the same moment in business.

In 2026, Leading in Radical Uncertainty took us into organizational transformation, autonomy and accountability, purpose under pressure, and decision-making when the path forward isn’t clear.

The 2027 Summit builds on those conversations while looking further ahead: what business needs to become over the next decade, and the role CEOs can play in shaping it.

04
How will the Summit help me?

You won’t spend three days simply listening to other people talk about leadership.

You’ll hear from leaders with actual experience, work through ideas in smaller groups, bring your own challenges into candid conversations, and pressure-test your thinking with peers who understand the stakes.

And those conversations don’t end when the Summit does. It’s designed to create relationships, continued learning, and opportunities to take what happened in the room back into your business.

05
When will applications open?
