Kim Todd believes the more opportunities people from different backgrounds, educational levels, and cultures have to learn from each other and find common ground, the stronger our businesses, communities, and the world become. The tenets of Conscious Capitalism align well with Kim’s passion for connecting people to share ideas, innovate, address challenges, and create lasting relationships that can make a positive difference worldwide.
Obsessed with all things international, Kim has spent the majority of her career working with people from around the globe as an event and program manager. Most recently, she facilitated professional international exchanges through the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program, engaging with over 900 visitors representing over 130 countries. Prior to that role, Kim worked with global science center and museum executives to help improve their leadership skills as well as enhance their organization’s community engagement and impact. Kim graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in English and political science.
A native Californian, Kim feels lucky to call the Golden State her home. Originally from southern California, she now lives near the state capital, Sacramento. As the mother of three teenagers, she doesn’t have much free time, but when she finds a spare moment, Kim likes to hike, cook, read, and volunteer for a local non-profit organization to raise funds for ovarian cancer research. One of her favorite things to do is travel and explore—she’s happy jumping on an international flight or taking a quick weekend road trip. Kim finds peace, happiness, and amazement in nature. Her children, Morgan, Haley, and Ethan, bring her the same sense of love and wonder.
