Matt has a passion for connecting with people, exploring culture, and understanding how brands can tap into both. This has helped him build a career around the globe working on the world’s biggest brands and most interesting challenges.

Hailing from the UK, he has lived and worked in a diverse array of places and cultures including the Czech Republic, London, New York, Sydney, Bangkok, Melbourne, LA, and now San Francisco. Matt has worked in, and helped build, communications agencies specializing in advertising, digital marketing, connections planning, media strategy, sustainability, and purpose.

In addition to his work he has been actively involved in community groups and non-profit organizations including former roles as the Chair of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership and the CEO of Conscious Capitalism Australia. Matt is still actively involved with Conscious Capitalism here in the US and has been responsible for inviting the Conscious Capitalism Global CEO and team to base themselves at 600 California Street where the two organizations are collaborating today.

Early in his career he helped build M&C Saatchi’s first digital division and later on he founded one of Australia’s most recognized sustainability strategy and communications companies dedicated to building purpose and meaning into businesses, organizations, and products.

He has worked on brands including British Airways, Mars, Nestle, Rolls Royce, British Telecom, Vodafone, Sony, National Australia Bank, the Australian Government, the City of Sydney, Qualcomm and Energy Upgrade California.
