Christina Sloan

Chapter Chair

Kansas City Chapter

Christina fell in love with Conscious Capitalism after hearing John Mackey of Whole Foods and Co-Founder and Co-Author of Conscious Capitalism speak on November 30, 2016 in Kansas City at the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program’s annual retreat. John shared some of his hard-earned wisdom from his own journey toward building a culture based on love, community, and purpose. This concept has been Christina’s life work and as she became aware of the Conscious Capitalism community she knew she needed to learn more. After reading Conscious Capitalism and attending the April 2017 Conscious Capitalism conference, both Ron Hill and Christina resolved to found a local Kansas City chapter, which they launched on November 1st, 2017 with six founding members.
