BIO:

Already a fan of The Container Store’s products and the clear opportunity she saw ahead for the retailer, it didn’t take much convincing for Audrey Robertson to say yes to a position helping to build the retailer’s in-house Public Relations team. Since joining the company in 1998 as Public Relations Supervisor and later in the role as Public Relations Director, Robertson continues to have a direct impact on the company’s sales and its recognition as a great place to work and company that approaches business differently.

Throughout her tenure, Robertson has helped to secure countless local and national public relations and marketing opportunities for the retailer with coverage appearing in high-profile media outlets such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Real Simple, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, CNN, HGTV and in virtually every business and women’s-focused magazine on the market.

In 2012, Robertson was promoted to Vice President of Cultural Programs, Community Relations & Social Media, a new position for the company. She continues to manage the company’s annual entry for FORTUNE magazine’s list of “100 Best Companies to Work For in America” where the company has been ranked for the past 13 years, as well as all other workplace and culture-related initiatives, including the company’s “National We Love Our Employees Day.”  Robertson also collaborates with employees throughout the company on external speaking engagements.
