Conscious Capitalism Rochester – Conscious Business Summit
May 2, 2017 @ 7:30 am - 1:30 pm
You may have heard the phrase “What gets measured gets improved.” While profit is easy to measure, it’s not the only thing that matters. How can we measure conscious business principles to get them higher on leaders’ priority lists?
Join CCROC for our first half-day conference where we look to answer this question!
- Enjoy breakfast and a morning keynote from Doug Rauch, former President of a “Firm of Endearment” Trader Joe’s.
- Hear from business leaders on how they use measurements like Triple Bottom Line, Great Places to Work, Cultural Values Assessments, B Corps and ETHIE Awards to “Measure What Matters.”
- Get inspired by local social entrepreneurs!
- Join Rochester Rotary for lunch and hear from Doug Rauch on his latest project, Daily Table. This not-for-profit retail store was created to address the reality that in the US, 40% of our food gets thrown out. Daily Table is trying to make sure that this food goes to those that need it! They are addressing the effects of poor eating habits caused by challenging economics, and the impact that wasted food and its precious resources has on our environment. Read more about Doug and Daily Table here.
