Conscious Conversation: Workplace giving in the 21st century
April 16, 2019 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Workplace giving has long been a staple of corporate social responsibility programs, raising $5 billion per year for educational programs, disaster relief and social causes. In-kind donations, one form of workplace giving, can boost employee engagement in a time when employees are increasingly looking for their employers to represent their values. But they can also be a headache to administer and they haven’t always efficiently delivered the right goods to the right people. How are giving programs evolving in response to new demands of workforces and new possibilities afforded by technology? Hear what’s working in this fireside chat with Mary Lonergan of YouGiveGoods and Taylor Ferguson of Fidelity Investments.
