CONSCIOUS CAPITALISM INSTITUTE

The Conscious Capitalism Institute (CCI) is a community of learning and practice, of research and teaching, of deep conversation and reflection - a rapidly growing global group of scholars from leading business schools, corporate executives and CEOs, as well as consultants, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.

Perhaps most centrally, this worldwide community includes students at all levels and everyday citizens who want to bring about a model of capitalism that is conscious, aligned with the interests of society and results in the creation of successful, profitable businesses that create multiple kinds of wealth and well-being. That is the deeply resonant message and timely promise of Conscious Capitalism. The CCI has been created to rigorously research and sharpen this promise. The goal is to deepen our understanding of the principles and best practices of Conscious Capitalism and to actively enable its successful implementation in organizations of all types and sizes.


How we go about our mission:

  • EVENTS. We hold events in the U.S., Europe and Asia. These conferences are memorable events featuring remarkable leaders and speakers. We invite you to attend a future event in person or online.

  • COMMUNITY. We have an active community with much to share. Our online media outreach is in development. Meanwhile, we invite you to view video talks and sessions with some of the greatest leaders of our time.

  • LEARNING. We develop and share teaching materials on Conscious Capitalism. An online master class with leading CEOs and authors will launch in the near future.

  • RESOURCES. We help companies make the journey towards Conscious Capitalism and into become high performing Firms of Endearment. Inspired by the book by the same title, and co-authored by CCI Chairman and Co-Founder Raj Sisodia, the Institute plans to offer resources to help organizations embed high value Conscious Business practices into their business philosophy and daily operations.

More about the Conscious Capitalism institute

Chartered in August 2009, the Conscious Capitalism Institute is the primary knowledge hub for the Conscious Capitalism movement. It is focused on advancing the understanding and implementation of the principles of Conscious Capitalism in all forms of business and social organizations. It represents a unique collaborative effort among faculty at prominent business schools around the world, major corporations, leading consulting organizations and thought leaders from every continent.

The three pillars of cci

The CCI devotes its resources and energies to three "pillars of endeavor":

    RESEARCH

  • Sponsor and conduct rigorous and relevant research on all aspects of Conscious Capitalism: its precepts and conceptual foundations and a host of areas associated with its practice and implementation in organizations (see list of Flagship Research Projects).

  • Highlight the work, policies, histories and challenges of exemplary Conscious Capitalism organizations in a global Case Bank.

    EDUCATE

  • Develop and disseminate effective teaching materials, cases, video content and management simulation exercises on Conscious Capitalism.

  • Promote initiatives to inculcate Conscious Capitalism principles and practices into curricula at all levels.

  • Manage a Global Academic Consortium to facilitate research and design and deliver the Conscious Capitalism curriculum at educational institutions worldwide.

    DEVELOP

  • Spread this perspective and these practices to entrepreneurs and organizations worldwide and facilitate the creation of more conscious businesses and organizational leaders

  • Coordinate delivery of diagnostic and advisory services to aspiring firms through a panel of accredited providers - The Conscious Capitalism Catalyst Program.

  • Accelerate the implementation of Conscious Capitalism by becoming a hub and lab for methodologies, best practices and enabling services for organizations embarking on the Conscious Capitalism journey. A key new CCI initiative in this area is the membership-based ÒBeyond CSR, Towards Conscious Capitalism Global Executive Roundtable.
